outed

I have this sneaky suspicion that my blog has been discovered by people I know in real life (other than the people I've invited to read).

I'm not thrilled about it, but it is what it is. I just have to post this disclaimer: Please don't be offended by anything you might read here. This is my therapy space, my place to connect with the other ladies in this unfortunate sisterhood. I know it's probably difficult for you to understand what's written here, to connect it to who I am in the flesh, but just know this: it's all me. The good, the bad, the ugly.

Anyway.

Aunt Flo showed. I hate that bitch. We're on to femara cycle #3, and we're working on a timeline to **gasp** stop trying.

Or, at least, take a break until we have treatment dollars saved up. It might involve me flying to a foreign country and selling a kidney. And perhaps half of my liver.

I'd sell my eggs, but, well, you know.

  1. Sounds like you need the people tracking device some of us have on our blogs...well it doesn't track people perse but it does give a general since of who views your blog. I think the most hurtful part about people "discovering" yor blog is that it comes from searching for your blog or being told about it. I've had the same situation. Sorry AF showed, your comment about selling off body parts cracked me up.

  2. I love the fact that you keep your sense of humor through all of the shit you've been wading through.

I know that a couple of people in my real life have found my blog too, and I just wish they would TELL ME. That's the most annoying part. I found one of my friend's blogs (who I knew was doing IVF, but didn't know about her blog) and I immediately e-mailed to ask if it was okay with her if I followed her. In that case, I wasn't searching for it. I happened to find it because it was an IF blog, and I was looking for some new IF blogs to follow at the time. Anyway, I understand your frustration.

  3. I'm so sorry AF showed.

My timeline to stop trying is the only thing saving my sanity right now.
